How our Tesla referral links work

My Tesla Journey is written by one Tesla owner in the UK. Some links on the site are our Tesla referral links. They're marked "(referral link)", and every post that contains one says so at the top.

What you get

If you've never owned a Tesla and you order a new Model 3 or Model Y through one of our links, Tesla gives you 650 free Supercharging miles (as of October 2026). You pay the same price as ordering directly. The code has to be applied before you place the order, because Tesla can't add it afterwards.

What we get

Tesla gives us a referral reward, usually Supercharging or Tesla credit, when someone takes delivery of a car ordered through our link. We don't get anything for test drives, used cars or Powerwall.

What doesn't change

We write about the downsides as well as the good bits, and we don't recommend a car or an option because of the referral. Prices and figures are dated and linked to their source.
