This page explains what My Tesla Journey collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 7 October 2026.
What we don't do
The site doesn't use advertising, tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Reading a post doesn't require an account.
The only cookie is theme, which is set if you pick light or dark mode at the bottom of a page, so the site remembers your choice.
The contact form
When you send a message, we collect your name, your email address and your message, so we can reply. To help block spam, the form also records your IP address and browser type. It's stored in the site's database and sent to our inbox. We delete form submissions after 90 days, and emails once we no longer need them. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details.
Referral links
When you click a referral link (one starting /go/), we count the click: which link, which page it was on, and the country your request came from. We don't record your IP address or anything else that identifies you. You then land on Tesla's website, where Tesla's privacy notice applies.
Cloudflare
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare's privacy policy explains how.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@myteslajourney.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
